Functional Task Boxes
In our classroom we use a lot of task boxes, here are some of the box ideas we use. All of the boxes I have used are shoeboxes from the container store.
Tool Match
Match the tool with the shape on the sheet.
Top It
Put the top on the jar/tub.
The boys are working on screwing tops on
and pushing tops on.
Sock Match
Match the socks by color.
Silverware Sort
Match the correct utensil with picture.
Morning Meting Tasks
Student
will match the letters with the corresponding letter to form their name.
Student will match the number with the
corresponding number to form their phone number.
Student will trace their first and last
name.
Student will match days of the week with
corresponding day of the week.
