Lucky Leprechauns

Happy St. Patrick’s Day

For Math we sorted and graphed Lucky Charms. The kids picked out all of the marshmallows and arranged them.

Crayon Shamrocks
The kids traced a shamrock and cut the stencil out of black paper. The kids shaved crayons on wax paper and ironed it to melt the colors together.

You can find the pattern here:

A leprechaun destroyed our classroom
...and left their footprints and coins everywhere!!!

Hand Print Rainbows
I helped the kids paint their hands with rainbow colors and then they colored a pot black and glittered the coins with gold!

Pepper Shamrocks
We cut green peppers in half and dipped them in green paint to make shamrock prints and painted stems.

WANTED!!!!

We made Leprechauns and made their wanted signs. The kids had a lot of fun writing about them.
