VETERANS DAY

OUR OT MADE INDIAN CORN PRINTS WITH THE KIDS. SHE PUT BUBBLE WRAP AROUND A ROLLING PIN AND HAD THEM ROLL IT ONTO PAPER.

WE MADE THESE CUTE VETERANS. THE KIDS CUT OUT THE LARGER PIECES AND GLUED ALL THE PIECES TOGETHER.

WE USED SYMBOLSTIX PICTURES TO ANSWER FILL IN THE BLANK QUESTIONS ABOUT VETERANS DAY.

THE KIDS READ A STORY ABOUT VETERANS ON EPIC.
(EVEN NORA LOVED IT TOO!)

THE KIDS WROTE LETTERS TO VETERANS WITH THEIR HOMEROOM CLASSES. I SENT MY STUDENTS WITH SYMBOLSTIX PICTURES TO DECIDE WHAT WANTED TO CHOOSE TO PUT ON THEIR LETTERS.

WE DISCUSSED THE FIVE DIFFERENT BRANCHES OF THE MILITARY.

SOME OF OUR MULT-AGE STUDENTS WALKED TO VETERANS PARK TO LOOK AT THE DIFFERENT BRICKS MEMORIALIZING THOSE WHO HAVE FOUGHT AND ARE CURRENTLY FIGHTING.

OUR TEAM WENT OUT TOGETHER TO A PACER EVENT AT SURLY BREWING COMPANY. WE HAD A BLAST!

FIELD TRIP!!!!
WE TOOK THE KIDS AND MET FOUR OTHER SPED CLASSES AT THE BOWLING ALLEY. THEY HAVE A GREAT TIME!

THIS CRAZY CREW ON PAJAMA DAY!
