Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

 Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Those pesky little leprechauns came in the middle of the night and tipped over all the chairs and left their little footprints and gold coins all over the room. They even colored Ms. Alysha’s bagel green and peed green in our toilet.. GROSS!!!

Shamrock Math

Throughout the week we had many St. Patrick’s Day themed lessons. In math we graphed lucky charms marshmallows.

Melted Crayon Shamrocks

The kids traced out a shamrock template and cut out the shape on a piece of black paper. Then the students chose four colors they wanted for their shamrock. We shaved the crayons and put them between wax paper and ironed them together. The kids loved them!

Pot of GoLd

we painted the kids hands like a rainbow, made gold coins and traced out black pots. Parents love these crafts because it is made using a part of their child.

Pepper CLovers

We cut a few clovers in half, dipped them in green paint and stamped them on the paper. It was fun to see if we would get a 3 or 4 leaf clover!

Wanted Leprechauns

The kids loved making these, for our class party they were able to dress up with hats and other head pieces along with glasses and beads. They kids liked to make theirs look the way they were dressed.

We used a combination between these two
