Happy St. Patrick’s Day
Those
pesky little leprechauns came in the middle of the night and tipped over all
the chairs and left their little footprints and gold coins all over the room.
They even colored Ms. Alysha’s bagel green and peed green in our toilet..
GROSS!!!
Shamrock Math
Throughout
the week we had many St. Patrick’s Day themed lessons. In math we graphed lucky
charms marshmallows.
Melted Crayon
Shamrocks
The
kids traced out a shamrock template and cut out the shape on a piece of black
paper. Then the students chose four colors they wanted for their shamrock. We shaved
the crayons and put them between wax paper and ironed them together. The kids
loved them!
Pot of GoLd
we painted the kids
hands like a rainbow, made gold coins and traced out black pots. Parents love
these crafts because it is made using a part of their child.
Pepper
CLovers
We cut a few clovers
in half, dipped them in green paint and stamped them on the paper. It was fun
to see if we would get a 3 or 4 leaf clover!
Wanted
Leprechauns
The kids loved making
these, for our class party they were able to dress up with hats and other head
pieces along with glasses and beads. They kids liked to make theirs look the
way they were dressed.
