Our OT was very busy this
November with the boys. She had them make painted turkey handprint cards for
their family and traced their hands and used candy corn as the feathers.
*** I did get a note back that one of the boys enjoyed the candy corn over break with the glue and all!
Pajama Day
A student in our district
is currently in the hospital with a medical condition. Our AMAZING school
decided to have a pajama day to raise money to donate to the family. I cannot
tell you how grateful I am to have this position in this district! PLUS who
doesn’t LOVE wearing their pajamas to school!!
I AM THANKFUL FOR…
We give the boys different
choices of things in their life to decide what they are thankful for this
thanksgiving. We read books about November and thanksgiving.
Unfortunately I don’t know
where I found our worksheet but here is something similar… http://www.pinterest.com/pin/67342956902438700/
Pilgrims and Indians
We made these fun crafts the past few years in
my classroom. We had the boys put different facts for each instead of writing.
If you love these as much
as we did you can find them here: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/67342956902438556/
And
Venn Diagram
We read a story about the
pilgrims while asking if the fact related to pilgrims, Indians or both. We read
What was the First Thanksgiving? to complete the questions.
